The cottage dates back to 1890, nestled in the midst of the hum drum of the 21st century. The Cottage has all the original charm of a cottage of that era. You can’t help but wonder what the walls would say if they could talk.
The original Cottage comprises a simple four room configuration to the original 1890’s house, two bedrooms with a double sided fireplace, and a living/dining room which originally would have been two separate rooms, again with a double sided fireplace. The walls between those two rooms have been removed some time ago, and now the fireplace stands in the middle of this long room like an island, giving the Cottage a charm and character all its own.
At one end there are two lounge suites with television, coffee table and soft lighting. Ideal to sit around and discuss the adventures of the day, or lay back and watch TV.
At the other is another lounge suite, the stereo system and a study desk. The ideal place to sit in front of the open fire, with a book, listening to soft music.
There are two bedrooms, the second with two single beds. The 5th and 6th beds comprise a sofa bed in the sitting room.
The kitchen/dining area is a large modern addition to the rear of the house, with ample bench space, granite bench tops and gas cooking, dishwasher and microwave.
The bathroom is light and airy with a double spa bath, and again, bench space and a mirror some 2.5 metres long.
Off double opening doors from the kitchen is the oudoor area, including barbecue and outdoor setting. The area is fully enclosed with room for the children to run around safely.
